Fifteen things that make up teenage lives.

In less than two months I’ll be twenty. I’m not complaining. I wish i could be twenty-five right now. As I was introspecting, I found myself feeling nostalgic about school and the life I’ve been living the past few years. They’ve been a mix of bliss, pain, fun, unhappiness. I can actually feel my carefree attitude slowly dying out and a responsible adult sprouting!

Here are a few things I’ve experienced in my (glorious) teen years.

  1. Organic chemistry and girls are toughest subjects to understand 😐
  2. The toughest decision you’ll ever make is choosing between hair styles at the barber’s
  3. Solving arguments in fist fights is the most logical thing to do(unbelievable as it may sound today, I was a fierce fighter.)
  4. You cry the most when your heart’s broken
  5. You go to the movies, to talk in a noisier environment
  6. Age limit on entering bars is the harshest law you’ve faced 😦
  7. Siblings are the worst pain in the necks
  8. Your ear is almost always warm from the mobile phone
  9. Porn is a group activity interrupted by bouts of laughter 😛
  10. Only time when being aimless is cool
  11. Secrets will be protected more fiercely than lives
  12. Getting a girlfriend is more prime than good grades
  13. Your ears have lost a bit of hearing due to the headphones
  14. Horny is a major state of mind 😀
  15. Parents truly do not know whats going on in your life
Bonus! Most important lesson I’ve learned and which will cost every parent quite a lot.
  16. As an adolescent, you can get away with pretty much anything 🙂

Got more to add?
